Why learn to read a fact sheet?
Only invest in what you understand; it's one of the oldest sayings in investing. But to most people, a fund fact sheet is full of gibberish. A wall of text filled with jargon and numbers. But they contain information that you must know before investing your hard-earned money. They tell you how your investments and pensions are performing. If you don't know what you're investing in, you could choose a fund that is not adequately diversified and has exorbitant fees, leaving you potentially thousands of pounds worse off and jeopardising your financial future. Learning to read a fact sheet gives you the knowledge and confidence to understand what you're investing in and choose the right fund for you.

For Alan and Katie's first investments they trusted a financial advisor without really knowing what they were doing and if they hadn't have found the financial independence world they would have been worth over £300,000 less now! Knowing this stuff is critical to your financial future.
