Welcome to the Extraordinary Life course.  Rebel Business School is 10 years old and to celebrate Alan, Katie and Simon have created a brand-new course designed to help you set yourself up for an extraordinary 2023 and beyond!

On this page you can find all of the links to the YouTube videos, all course notes, and resources. This page is designed to be the home of the course. 

Course details

Although the live Extraordinary Life course has come to an end, you can still take the course! There is no excuse not to play along and set 2023 up to be the most extraordinary year for you yet! The course syllabus:

  • ​Week 1 - Current Reality. Setting up Extraordinary.
  • Week 2 - Mini-experiments, choosing a direction and creating your vision of extraordinary
  • Week 3- Toking action, making things happen and how to create momentum
  • Week 4 - Overcoming challenges, the Disney creative strategy and the power of masterminds
  • Week 5 - The magic ingredients of extraordinary

How to access the course?

As we mentioned earlier, the live course has concluded but as we streamed the course via Zoom and YouTube Live, all of the course videos are available to watch retrospectively on our YouTube channel. Below, you can find each weeks video and the corresponding  notes and resources.

Support group

We know not everyone likes Facebook but it still a reasonable tool for us to communicate outside the course.  So, we have created a Facebook group where we can support each other, hold each other accountable and share ideas as we work towards our version of an extraordinary 2023!  Join now!

Week 1

Week 1 of the extraordinary life course is all about working out where you are.  If you are trying to get from A to B then we need to first know where A is before we set off.  Join Alan, Katie and Simon as we work through the principles of lifestyle design, working out your values (your compass) and then examining your current reality.  This week's exercises are the foundation of the course, and we will build on them all next week in Extraordinary: choosing your version.

Week 2

This week's course is all about coming up with your version of extraordinary in the different life areas.  The week is split into two parts, firstly working on the insights from the current reality exercise from week 1 and then secondly answering the magic wand question and coming up with your vision of extraordinary.

This is the time to put aside the realist and the critic inside you and to dream of how you really want life to be.

Week 3

Week 3 is all about breaking through the barriers that get in the way of the life we really want to live.

So many of us set goals, try and achieve things and then get blocked or stuck.  Some of us get stuck for years in a state of purgatory, not being able to move forward but not wanting to give up on our dreams.  

If you have ever been stuck working towards a goal, been unable to follow through, procrastinated or self-sabotaged then this is the week you need to watch,

Week 4

True self-care is creating a life you want to live, a life you don't want to run away from.  This takes time, energy and effort.  How are you really looking after yourself, are you sleeping well? Are you eating well?  Are you moving your body? 

If you don't look after your body, your mind, your mental health how do you expect to have the energy and drive to create the life you want.  True self care is looking after yourself so you have the energy to start working on the life you actually want to live.

Week 5

From dreams to reality in one week.  Come on Donegans; is this actually real?  This week we go through Alan's goal setting process live, we then take those ideas, choose the ones we want to make happen and Alan, Katie and Simon give you the very best they have on making those things real. 

The extraordinary belongs to those that create it and once you have chosen your version it is time to get started creating, building and making it happen. This is where the rubber hits the road and we start to make progress
